Job Description

Job Purpose

To ensure customer quality requirements are met by coordinating between sales, production, and quality teams. Responsible for product quality, handling customer complaints, supporting sales with technical quality matters, and driving continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Handle customer enquiries, quotations, and follow-ups.

Support new project development and sample submissions.

Coordinate customer audits and quality requirements.

Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions.

Liaise with production, quality, and engineering departments to ensure product conformity.

Prepare and review quality documents and control plans.

Monitor sales performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement activities.

Prepare technical quotations and pricing proposals. Manage customer communication on product quality and delivery matters. Conduct on-site visits and technical presentations. Analyse quality data, defect trends, and propose preventive measures. Support quality management system compliance for the company (ISO 9001 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001) Work closely with internal teams for problem-solving and improvement projects.

Job Specification

Qualification

Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing).

Experience

Minimum 3 years in manufacturing (automotive/electronics/precision preferred). Experience in customer quality, audits, and problem-solving tools. Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent.

b. Certificate Qualification (if any):

ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor (preferred) Basic Quality Tools / 8D Problem Solving (added advantage)

. Skills Required (Most Important):

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Knowledge in quality systems (ISO) and quality tools (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D).

Data analysis and report preparation skills.

Negotiation and customer handling skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Able to read engineering drawings and specifications.

c. Training / Certification Programs:

On-the-job training in product knowledge and company quality system.

External training for Quality Core Tools (FMEA).

Customer-focused, detail-oriented, proactive. Able to work independently and in a team.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
