Sales Support Specialist

In this position, you support the Sales assigned organization (Division & Market) and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area in Smart Power, PG Power Protection, for our global sales team and be based in Switzerland. Reporting to the Sales Support Manager, your attention to detail and ability to negotiate with multiple partners will be vital to this key component of project planning. This position will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Other locations to be discussed.

Your responsibilities

• Offer technical advice and provide comment on enquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Specialists with regard to ABB UPS products/systems/applications
• Provide technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
• Managing all aspects of the bid \xe2\x80\x94 including technical, financial, product management and risk reviews
• Offer product/ solution related training
• Support the local Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers
• Participate in customer visits during their visits to local factory site
• Contributing to an effective, positive customer relationship throughout the sales process
• Perform lost proposal analysis, identifies potential cause, and recommends future actions in cooperation with Sales/Local Business Unit to obtain better future results
• Implement global standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and share functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization

Your background

• A Bachelor degree in Power Electronics
• 3+ years of experience in working with UPS Systems in the Data Center and Industrial market. Or similar field
• Knowledge of SAP
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
• A collaborative, solution-focused approach with strong written and spoken communication skills
• Fluent in English, both oral and written, Italian, French or German speaking is considered as a plus
