JMP, a subsidiary of SAS, is looking for an experienced test engineer to help ensure quality features, functionalities, and integrations are available in our Salesforce instance to help drive business critical processes. We are looking for a test engineer who can think like a customer and execute various testing scenarios and end-to-end tests that will exercise the full range of functionality and business processes in Salesforce. In this role, you will work directly with development staff, give feedback on features, find bugs, verify fixes, and process customer feedback. The ideal candidate has a proven testing mindset, good judgement, is passionate about quality, and wants to work in an innovative and high-energy environment.
You will have the opportunity to:

• Interact directly with developers, work effectively in a fast-paced Agile environment.
• Design, develop, and execute test plans, scenarios, and processes.
• Work with an automation engineer to automate some test scenarios, and possibly contributing to automation in a hands-on way.
• Identify defects and confirm build meets acceptance criteria.
• Perform many different types of testing: exploratory, functional, stress, API, end-to-end, integration, and many others.
• Maintain and add to our test inventory.
• Involve stakeholders to ensure consistency in product and/or feature integration.
• Review relevant documentation.
• Identify test scenarios and implement automation around all scenarios.
• Analyze test results to ensure regression tests are successful, identify defects in the software, report issues, and verify defects have been fixed.
• Affect the quality of our Salesforce products by influencing the design and testability during development.

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• 3+ years of experience testing software, participating in quality assurance programs and testing processes.

• Experience with testing and quality assurance best practices
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience Apex code, debugging code, and identifying issues with code.

• Strong teamwork skills, ability to learn quickly, excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to think analytically, strong problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of software testing tools, methodologies and principles.

• Perform complex tasks executing and modifying processes, plans and design when needed.

• Knowledge of Quote-to-Cash processes and other business processes
• Knowledge of various Salesforce products like CPQ, Experience Cloud, Mulesoft, Sales Cloud, Service cloud, etc
• Knowledge of APIs and integrations with Salesforce
• Ability to work in a global team environment
