Job Description


Purpose Statement The primary roles of a Project Manager are: Responsible to provide Project Management expertise and professional consulting services to customers of NTT DATA Business Solutions. The solutions must be tangible, sustainable and of exceptional quality providing quantifiable benefits to these customers. Responsible and accountable to manage the customer projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet expected outcomes and quality standards. Responsible and accountable to provide excellence service delivery to customer and handle the account management, providing an interface between the customers and NTT DATA Business Solutions, and understanding and navigating the customer stakeholders to manage expectations and gain trust. Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs) Leadership, People & Practice A highly positive, motivated, proactive and responsible Project Manager and Team Player Provide leadership, coaching and assistance for the assigned team of consultants to meet key deliverables Execute planning and coordination of resources for presales activities and project engagements Provide feedback to project team and their managers on their performance over the course of the project, and document these feedbacks Lead and coordinate business decision workshops and trainings, customer communication, and facilitation sessions and presentations Maintain open and clear communication with team members, and stakeholders internally and externally Conduct knowledge-sharing sessions with the project team Project Management and Project Governance Execute end to end Project Management for assigned projects, from discovery to explore, realize, deploy and run phases including support, warranty and handover Strongly capable to perform scope, risk and issue, quality and control management Monitor progress of assigned engagements to ensure that milestones and performance indicators are met Plan and coordinate resource, and establish roles and responsibilities for project organization Ensure the project implementation is in accordance with the contract requirements and the quality requirements of the project methodology Ensure Quality Review to be performed at different phases of the project as a project checkpoint and quality gate Ensure all CRs or changes to scope are updated and reflected in the project documentation Establish communication plan and documentation to project team and stakeholders, and to provide regular project updates and reports Ensure to provide minutes of meeting for any critical meetings and ensure the minutes are distributed and acknowledged by the customer Account Management & Customer Commitment Plan and execute presales activities and coordinate resources for the assigned activities Provide leads to Account or Sales Manager in identifying opportunities, stakeholders, pain points and initiatives Provide estimated timeline and profitable costing for change requests or new opportunities, and document any commercial requirements Develop and manage customer and partner relationships, particularly with Senior Executives and Management teams to identify potential opportunities and to build continuous improvement programme Evaluate customers\' business needs and provide expert advice on specific business solutions and applications - best practice and cross-functional solutions Advise customers on the implications of new technologies, specific system design decisions, project changes, new services and other customer relevant information Create long-term partnerships which engender ongoing business relationships Financial Performance Provide accurate resource and pricing projections/quotations for projects, change requests Ensure all engagements meet or exceed the approved deal sheet margins Maintain and control cost, along with the associated costs for adhering to schedule and exceed quality expectations of the project to ensure they run on budget, on time and meet customer expectations Ensure all changes to commercials for a project are supported by a Statement of Work (SoW), a purchase order or \'signed and approved\' change requests (CRs) Ensure financials are up-to-date within a project with the customer commercials being presented through the regular Steering Committee reporting All customer invoicing and associated timesheets are processed within a timely manner and in accordance with the timeline as set by NTT DATA Finance Department Delivery and Consulting Provide consulting services as Subject Matter Expert to clients in an efficient and effective manner, based on technical expertise and experience in SAP MM PM. Delivery of workable solution and integration with other business solutions to meet clients\' business requirements Carry out all phases of the project, from Requirements gathering and detailed design, to Implementation (including Configuration, Data Migration, Testing & Training), Go-Live (from preparation to support), Warranty, and Transition to Support Apply and utilize Industry and Business Best Practice knowledge and tools Adhere to corporate standard, security guidelines and sustainability, and deliver within time constraints Presales Support presales effort in response to proposals, and conducting system demonstrations and presentations Identify sales opportunities at existing customers and communicate internally to management team, and work closely with Sales Team in securing new accounts and engagements Prepare technical proposals and coordinate proposal materials for specific campaigns and presales activities Propose prospective solutions and provide effort estimation for new business opportunities within the given timeline in alignment with the Consulting Team\'s objectives Organizational Development Manage all phases of project delivery Draft all project related documents Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations Conduct customer post project reviews Identify key skills or competency requirements for future internal development Ensure compliance to a company-wide standard for project management Key Performance Measures (KPM) Project Management Ensure project revenue and customer performance measures are met High quality of delivery of allocated tasks within project timeframes, according to agreed project plans, scope and estimated costs Comply with project governance processes and ensure all project commercials are established and managed Ensure project deliverables meet specified quality objectives and customer requirements with zero rework and defect rectification after going live Ensure Quality Review is completed on each project phase and the quality gates are all met People & Practice Keep abreast with new product releases and technology Ability to provide leadership and mentoring Strong people management to build, establish and maintain trust, and strong and effective relationships, and ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and individuals, internally and externally Presentation and facilitation skills Strong demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills. Confidence in presenting to, and discussing solutions with, various audiences and groups of different sizes Presales Preparation of solution marketing content Preparation of sales proposals and statement of work documents including project resource plans and effort estimates Carry out systems demonstrations Qualifications & Certifications Relevant tertiary qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree Trained and certified in a recognized project management methodology/project discipline, e.g. Prince 2/PMP/CPM/OneMethod/SAP ASAP/SAP Activate Certified in SAP Critical Knowledge, Skills & Experience Must have 5-10 years of SAP project experience in Consulting with minimum 3 full life cycle of project implementation Ability to perform project management activities, and act as a Subject Matter Expert with qualification and experience in SAP. Solid knowledge of business and industry practice Must have experience in managing project team, client, partner and providing feasible solutions. Strong knowledge in SAP products and integration with other products will be an added advantage Strong knowledge in project management methodologies such as SAP ASAP, SAP Activate and AGILE methodology Passion for quality and demonstrated high standards of service delivery Excellent business communication skill with exceptional written and verbal communication Solid time, task and people management skills to well organised the team an ability to establish and prioritize works. Strong issues resolution experience with excellent analytical, conceptual, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
