Job Summary

The Scrum Master is responsible for facilitating Agile practices, enabling high-performing teams, and ensuring the effective adoption of

Scrum and Agile principles

. The role focuses on

servant leadership, team coaching, and continuous improvement

while working closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to deliver business value.

Key ResponsibilitiesAgile Facilitation & Delivery

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies:

Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives

. Ensure Scrum processes are followed and continuously improved. Help teams deliver sprint commitments with high quality and predictability.
Team Coaching & Servant Leadership

Coach teams on

Agile values, Scrum framework, and best practices

. Remove impediments and blockers that impact team productivity. Foster a culture of

collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement

.
Stakeholder & Product Collaboration

Work closely with

Product Owners

to ensure a healthy, prioritized backlog. Support effective release planning and roadmap execution. Manage expectations with business stakeholders and leadership.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement

Track and analyze Agile metrics such as

velocity, burndown, cycle time, and throughput

. Drive retrospectives and action plans to improve team performance. Promote Agile maturity and engineering best practices.
Governance & Scaling

Support Agile governance and compliance requirements. Participate in

scaled Agile frameworks

(SAFe, LeSS, Nexus) where applicable. Contribute to Agile community of practice and knowledge sharing.
Skills & Experience (Mandatory)

Strong knowledge of

Scrum framework and Agile principles

Hands-on experience facilitating Agile teams Experience using Agile tools (JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps) Proven ability to manage dependencies and cross-team collaboration
Certifications (Preferred)

Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Professional Scrum Master (PSM I / II) SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
Nice to Have

Experience in

banking, fintech, or regulated environments

Background as a

developer, QA, or Business Analyst

Experience coaching multiple teams
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM6,424.48 - RM14,169.45 per month
