Security

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)Patrolling hotel grounds, parking lots, lobbies, restaurants, and hallways.

2)Control traffic by directing drivers.

3)Monitor the hotel via security cameras.

4)Responsible for escorting guests and hotel staff to and from the hotel (if required).

5)If valet parking is unavailable late at night, hotel security may escort guests and staff in order to protect them.

6)Responsible for reporting all suspicious activity to their supervisors or hotel management.

7)Attentively identify people who are not guests but loitering on hotel compound,

8)Must be on call anytime during their shift to investigate disturbances reported by hotel staff and guests.

9)Responsible in spot checking contractors from time to time and ask them to leave before evening to avoid them staying longer than needed.

10)Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

11)Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.

12)Answer telephone calls to take messages, answer questions, and provide information during non-business hours or when switchboard is closed.

13)Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
