Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintains safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.
• Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures and restraining trespassers.
• Controls traffic by directing drivers.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities and interviewing witnesses.
• Maintains environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
• Respond immediately to distress calls, panic alarms, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately.
• Maintain the company\xe2\x80\x99s stability and reputation with professionalism and legal compliance.
• Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following SOP and instructions, reporting system malfunctions and calling for repairs.
• Ensuring all subcontractors works are following safety requirement and jobs are performed after permit to work is approved by inspecting aspect of safety and security.
• Monitor and record all permit t work submitted by sub-contractors before they start works.
• Issuance of access card to sub-contractors after all requirements are fulfilled according to house rules provided.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Monitoring of outsourced security guards and ensure their compliance to contract requirements.
• Able to work on rotational shift.

Position requirement:

• Diploma in any disciplines.
• Minimum 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in safety and security in shopping malls.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Experience with security equipment and surveillance systems.
• Law enforcement experience.
• Ex-policemen are encouraged to apply.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months Salary: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month Benefits:
