Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Security Senior Presales Consultant, located in Petaling Jaya. The Security Senior Presales Consultant works closely with partners/customers to understand their security requirements/challenges and provides technical solutions to address those requirements/ challenges . The Security Senior Presales Consultant must be able to design and articulate the value proposition of a solutions to address customer\'s requirement and budget . They provide product and technical expertise during the sales process and work with the sales team to ensure customer satisfaction. The Security Senior Presales Consultant need to acquire security domain knowledge on the assigned product including market positioning, technical concepts, and competitor differentiators. They will also be responsible to develop close working relationship with principal\'s sales engineers. Responsibilities Perform requirement study on customer\'s requirements to develop an optimum solution proposal as well as to create bill-of-materials that match with solution workaround Conduct product and solutions presentations to partners, end users and prospects Conduct workshop, COE demo, product updates and provide coaching to partners or internal teams to enhance product knowledge Attend to RFP/RFI/RFQ request and tender briefing or clarification. Responsible for completion of technical documents and proposal of relevant product / solutions Qualifying Proof of Concept request, perform pre-POC requirement study and determine successful criteria and potential risk, carry out the POC activities Chair high level technical meetings on proposed solution with partners or end users Develop high-level designs and architectures - create and document architectures that address client business problems that can be used to ensure a smooth transition from Presales to delivery Qualifications 3+ years of experience in security presales, consulting, or related technical field Strong knowledge of security technologies and trends, including cloud security and zero trust networking Possess DDI, Firewall, EDR Endpoint Protection, Vulnerability Scanner, Hardware Security Modules (HSM), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Identity and Access Management (IAM), TLS/SSL Certificates related technical skillset and knowledge will be an advantage Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field Industry cybersecurity recognition, credential and certification will be an advantage Experience in cybersecurity, endpoint security, identity and access management, network security, or related fields is a plus Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail and time management skills Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers
