Job Summary

The Security Supervisor will be based in Prai, Penang.

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do:

• Check badges of employees and resident visitors and verify the authorization of visitors to enter the facility.
• Ensure that all visitors complete the appropriate form required for access.
• Notify points of contact of visitor arrivals.
• Issue proper badges to visitors.
• Inspect visitors' hand-carried items for classified material, company property, or prohibited items.
• Verify authorization of persons to carry property in or out of the facility.
• Answer phone calls in a courteous and professional manner.
• Perform patrols of facilities.
• Rapid alarm response and emergency response.
• Violation and hazard detection.
• Parking enforcement.
• Classified materials destruction transportation, and associate post relief.
• May also include performing security escorts, keeping detailed records, and performing other related security tasks as assigned by the officer or Supervisor, Security Services, or designated representative.
• Perform shift supervisor duties which may include overseeing shift operations, coordinating work schedule changes, completing or reviewing incident reports to ensure accuracy, coordinating management and/or customer notifications as required, and ensuring essential operational information is properly passed on to the next shift.

Here is some of what you'll need:

• Typically requires completion of high school or vocational training or equivalent, in addition to one year of experience in a general office environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of six years of related experience.
