Position Overview:

The SEN Program Specialist serves as the bridge between BrightFuture's

educational team

and the

software development team

, ensuring that the Web and Mobile App system meets the functional, operational, and pedagogical needs of neurodivergent children enrolled in the

Ignite and Pathways Programs

.

This individual will translate educational processes, reporting requirements, and progress-tracking methods into

clear functional and technical requirements

for the development team.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and program heads to capture functional requirements for the app (e.g., IEP tracking, progress dashboards, journal entries, rubric reporting). Translate business needs into

user stories, wireframes, and process flows

for developers. Ensure all program domains are accurately represented in system modules. Identify automation opportunities (attendance, assessment, reporting).
2.

Stakeholder Communication

Act as a

liaison

between educational staff and the software development team. Facilitate regular requirement reviews, sprint demos, and feedback loops. Communicate technical constraints to educators and translate educator needs into technical requirements.
3.

Testing & Validation

Conduct

User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

with teachers and therapists. Validate that the app supports the correct workflows (from student enrolment ? teaching ? reporting ? Pathways transition). Review all dashboards, analytics, and reports for functional accuracy.
4.

Documentation & Training

Prepare

functional requirement documents (FRD)

process maps

, and

user manuals

. Develop onboarding materials for staff using the system. Train teachers, admin staff, and management on system functionalities.
5.

Continuous Improvement

Analyze user feedback to recommend improvements to app usability and data accuracy. Monitor performance metrics and propose enhancements to align with educational outcomes.

Pay: From RM6,000.00 per month
