Job Description

Kinesso Malaysia is seeking a Scrum Master who will be working with several scrum teams on facilitating best agile practices to accomplish team goals and ensuring iteration quality. This includes the management of iteration throughput, tracking, communicating, and providing transparency of iteration health, team development and overall iteration facilitation. The Scrum Master is also adept at continuous improvement and team empowerment practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Be a people person with excellent communication skills, thorough knowledge and good working skills of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency
• Drive and facilitate the Agile way of working in the tactical day-to-day product delivery process in accordance with the latest version of The Scrum Guide\xe2\x80\x9d, including ensuring agreed upon backlog items are prioritized, developed with the best quality, and released on time.
• Champion Agile principles and values to the Scrum team(s). Drive change by mentoring and coaching the team(s) to embrace the Agile values, best practices, and lead by example.
• As a servant leader, inspire, guide, coach and empower the team(s) to be a self-managing and cross functional cohesive unit. Facilitate getting the work done through discussion, decision making and conflict
• Create a collaborative environment for the scrum team to work efficiently and, business can deliver high quality products. Encourage, support, and enable the team(s) to reach their full potential and Facilitate continuous improvement by observing and providing regular feedback and encourage growth and knowledge sharing
• Ensure SDLC processes and practices are adhered to, and ceremonies / events are scheduled and conducted effectively and purposefully. Monitor progress, highlight issues encountered, flag potential roadblocks early, mitigate risks and manage issues appropriately.
• Remove impediments and guide the teams to remove impediments and progress towards the sprint goal.
• Build relationship with the Product owner(s) and other stake holders to facilitate team\'s interaction with them. Support Product Owners in managing the backlog by organizing and facilitating timely grooming sessions and during roadmap reviews.
• Document processes and practices in Confluence. Synthesize status information into consumable dashboards and Analyze historical execution data to surface problematic areas and propose appropriate adjustments to the SDLC

• Coordinating across other agile teams for complex projects as necessary

• 5+ overall IT experience with 3+ years\' experience in a Scrum Master role
• Bachelor\'s degree in technology or equivalent Certified Scrum Master (CSM) / Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred.
• Proficient with agile project tracking tools such as Jira, Jira Plan, Jira Dashboards etc.
• Familiarity with common agile engineering best practices
• Good understanding of latest Technologies. Exposure to service-oriented environments and data engineering projects is a
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and exceptional emotional
• Highly motivated, self-driven problem Ability to identify and resolve team impediments.
