Job Description


Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accounts Manager. The Senior Accounts Manager willbe responsible for managing and overseeing accounting operations, preparingaccounting/financial reports, managing budgets, analyzing financial data, and ensuringcompliance with financial regulations.Responsibilities

  • Perform accounting analysis, reporting and management activities.
  • Ensure that the accounting reports are prepared and delivered on time according to professional and regulatory standards.
  • Handle full set of accounts, ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and other related schedules.
  • Liaise with legal counsel, auditors, tax agents, secretaries, bankers, and other external practices.
  • Manage the accounting operations of the Company and its subsidiaries, including monthly closing of accounts, preparation of management accounts, financial analysis presentations, budgetary planning and control, preparation of financial reports, and any other ad-hoc reports.
  • Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, evaluating their impact on the company\xe2\x80\x99s financial reporting, and providing recommendations for adjustments as necessary.
  • Assist in administration activities, account reconciliation and AP/AR activities.
  • Assist in generating financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, etc.
  • Assist in ensuring accurate calculation and distribution of salaries and other benefits to employees.
  • Conduct forecasting and budgeting, and analysing a variety of financial information (e.g., revenues, expenditures, cash management, cost projections) to provide direction and support, make recommendations, maximize the use of funds, and ensure overall operations are within budget.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of financial processes and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure accounts team follows company policies and regulations.
  • Train new employees on accounting operations.
  • Other related tasks as assigned
Qualifications
  • Computer literate and familiarity on hands on knowledge in MS Office Application: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and commonly used accounting softwares.
  • Knowledge in current financial practice and policies is essential.
  • Minimum 8 years working experience in related field and industry.
  • Minimum and advanced diploma/LCCI higher in Finance/ Accounting or its equivalent.
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting/Finance related is an advantage.
  • Language proficiency: English, Malay and Mandarin.
  • Ability to work independently and hands-on personally.
  • Highly responsible and dependable in character.
  • Experience working in tech related industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge and working experience in a public listed company is an advantage.
