Tracking project budgets, establishing project costs, and analysing changes in company costs
Stay up-to-date on budgets and actual spending
Study and preparing variance analysis statements and reports for company and group level
Attending meetings to provide financial feedback
To recommend changes in operating procedures to improve efficiencies in payment and procurement processes
When necessary, offer analytical support for departmental and operation budget
Coordinate with management to ensure cost forecasting reports are consistently checked and applied
Examine data to help with reducing costs in all operations
Reviewing Yearly Cash Flow Forecast and monitoring in monthly/quarterly/yearly basis
Contribute to developing yearly operation plans, budgets, and estimating new project costs, including economic analysis
To liaise with both external and internal stakeholders
To assist on special assignment or any ad-hoc duties
Job Requirements:
Degree in Accounting / ACCA / CPA / CFA / CIMA / ICAEW / MIA or equivalent
At least 3 years of relevant working experience. Experience in property development industry is an added advantage
Possess an in-depth knowledge of accounting and cost-management systems, as well as computer software
Able to work in fast pace, multi-tasking and high-volume environment
Good team player, interaction skills, proactive, communication skills and detail-orientated
Proficient in presentation and problem-solving skills
Willing to be temporarily to be based in HQ Seri Manjung Perak for 6 months familiarization with culture, work process .
