Job Description

MohonKelayakanRequirementsEducation:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations.
• Expertise in shipping, customs procedures, and import/export tax regulations in Malaysia.

Skills:

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Autocount).
• Strong understanding of customs duties, shipping documentation, and cross-border transactions.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Candidate must have skills and knowledge in accounting and Microsoft Excel.

Language:

• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin will added as advantage.

TanggungjawabKey ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents.

Accounts Management:

• Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
• Ensure proper records and account reconciliations.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes.

Shipping & Customs Tax:

• Ensure compliance with customs regulations, duties, and import/export taxes.
• Work with logistics teams to optimize shipping costs and handle documentation.
• Stay updated on Malaysian customs and shipping tax rules.

Taxation & Compliance:

• Ensure timely submission of tax filings (SST, Income Tax, Customs, etc.).
• Comply with Malaysian tax laws and keep records.

Internal Controls & Collaboration:

• Implement internal financial controls and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to manage shipping and tax costs.

Any other ad-hoc assignments / tasks assigned by Superior / Management from time to time.Manfaat
