We are currently seeking a Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - NPD to join our AERO/ ISCA team in our Perai, Penang office. Reporting to the Sr Adv Mfg Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to join ISC Engineering team. ISC Engineering team is one team of trusted experts creating the manufacturing processes, technologies, and supply chain that allows our factories to consistently deliver products that delight the customer. The AME NPD in ISC Engineering team is responsible to lead the execution of all manufacturing activities for New Product Development (Supply Chain selection, capital request and execution for tooling & test, Material productivity saving through Value Engineering projects).
Key Responsibilities:
\xc2\xb7 Lead and directly manage all manufacturing activities for Electrical New Product Development mostly manufactured in Penang
\xc2\xb7 Report status regularly to Program Manager
\xc2\xb7 Partnering with Engineering, Quality, Sourcing, GS&I to determine the best supply chain to meet manufacturing cost targets
\xc2\xb7 Manage capital request and execution for new tooling & equipment
\xc2\xb7 Ensure site implement all APQP artifacts (Control Plan, PFMEA, MSA,...)
\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with site planner & site manufacturing engineer for first hardware production batches. Monitor Yield (RTY) and drive RCCA to meet RTY

\xc2\xb7 Lead PRR and MRA (Production readiness reviews) prior to moving part to mass production.
You Must Have:
\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\'s Degree in an Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering discipline with 5-10 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Integrated Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations
\xc2\xb7 Three plus years of Project Engineering/Manufacturing Engineering leadership experience
\xc2\xb7 Strong understanding of general principles of electrical design and manufacturing processes. Be able to evaluate engineering designs for producibility, cost, and quality.
\xc2\xb7 Green belt certified; Black Belt, Lean Expert, or PMP certified will be a plus
\xc2\xb7 Self-motivated & self starter, ability to generate own new opportunities/ideas in complex organizations and drive projects to success.
\xc2\xb7 Professional written and verbal communications skills in English

\xc2\xb7 Experience working in a manufacturing environment (Hands-on manufacturing shop-floor experience is a plus)
\xc2\xb7 Solid understanding of the cost structure of typical manufacturing processes of electrical products (Printed Circuit Board, Printed Circuit Board Assembly, Cable harness, electrical unit assembly and test)
\xc2\xb7 Effective global communication, presentation, leadership, teaming and people skills.
\xc2\xb7 Cross-functional working experience between multi-site environments.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to meet tight deadlines, high degree of focus on quality of work product.
\xc2\xb7 Able to prioritize and manage multiple project/programs with limited and shared resources.
