Job Responsibilities: Start, maintain, and lead projects involving big data collection and storage systems. Ensuring data compliance and security needs are met in data system construction. Recommend and deploy suitable big data models and solutions for existing data systems. Maintain documentation on codes for future upgrades and repairs to the system. Manage and translate raw data into understandable information for other professionals. Work hands-on with available services, such as AI/Machine Learning, IoT, data warehouse solutions, etc., to build products and solutions. Deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers, which includes: participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer requirements, creating consulting proposals, as well as designing and delivering packaged Big Data service offerings. Job Requirements: Minimum ten (10) years of experience with five (5) years of relevant experience in big data engineering, big data system development, or related roles. Working experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Databricks, EMR, etc. Expertise in data modeling, warehousing, Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) technologies, and relational databases such as SQL. Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, including Python, Java, Scala, R, or NodeJS. Strong understanding of database security and compliance tools. Ability to build, maintain, and improve upon existing data architecture, collection, and storage systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor junior team members on best practices. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with keen attention to detail Nice to Have:- Professional big data engineering certification (Databricks, Cloudera, Hortonworks, etc.) Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, IT, or a related technical field or equivalent. Experience in building, maintaining, and improving existing data architecture, collection, and storage systems. Experience with cloud computing technologies.
