Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities: Lead local initiatives to ensure delivery of total category NSV (Net Sales Value), %GM (Gross Margin) and OP (Operating Profit) targets. Jointly deliver targeted category market share with the Trade Marketing & Sales function. Manage the development and execution of the category Annual Business Pan (AOP) & annual OGSIM targets. Actively participate in identifying DTV opportunities and their execution Co-manage the annual country Consumer Advertising and Promotion Budget. Provide local market insight to sector regarding country consumer fit with global/regional positioning . Manage day-to-day relationship with Advertising (local), Promotions and Media agencies. Lead development of the local campaigns based on a global Brand Idea and local insight (advertising and Brand Activation). In the absence of regional advertising, develop and execute a local content with Sector approval. Develop, evaluate and approve category media strategy. Develop category Consumer Promotion programs and DPSM guidelines Gather local insight and provide inputs to the regional consumer insights. Develop consumer research plan to address country consumer knowledge gaps. Review monthly consumer feedback data and take appropriate actions. Lead Execution of Brand Public Relations programs. Provide market-specific consumer insights as inputs into sector product plan. Execute locally developed NPI pipeline to meet market needs and lead the project management Execute locally developed adjustment of the Global design vision driven by the local consumer insight Recommend and execute SKU line-up where to manufacture, work with sector to obtain optimum SKU mix. Provide inputs into DPSM strategy to Trade Marketing. Recommend RSP based on price index strategy. Implement RGM initiatives to maximize topline growth opportunity and Gross Margin improvement Cross-functional team in Malaysia (Sales, Trade Marketing, Finance, Mill) Regional sector team Essential Requirements: Minimum of 6-7 years of marketing experience - regional experience and/or cross functional experience an advantage Experience in cross-functional leadership and project management essential. The candidate must have demonstrated strengths in leadership, interpersonal skills, functional technical skills, and exposure to manufacturing operations and business analysis.
