Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate with the Head of Marketing, have full ownership over your budget and the results of your initiatives to help scale ShopBack\'s brand awareness and visibility in Malaysia. Through engaging, creative and innovative marketing strategies, you will contribute to ShopBack\'s vision to be the most rewarding way to shop for users as well as helping our merchant partners meet their objectives.

You will support across the different business units and product lines in ShopBack Malaysia which includes Marketing Services (Online Cashback), Financial Services and Brand Solutions. You enjoy challenging the status quo and finding new ways to deliver results, deep dive into problem statements, and working with functional stakeholders to solve real business challenges and raise the bar for the entire team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end planning, development, implementation of marketing strategies across owned social media and external channels including but not limited to ATL, paid media, partnerships, content creators and influencers
  • Conceptualize and execute creative brand, content and partnership initiatives that support overall business priorities - guiding and leading the team to execute with success
  • Develop effective strategies for user acquisition, engagement and conversion objectives on the platform through the different channels including setting measurable objectives, creating strategies, driving tactical execution, and measuring ROI
  • Test, learn and iterate in new and existing channels to achieve ambitious customer growth target
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Business Development, Brand Solutions, Campaigns team, Regional Marketing etc) to conceptualize initiatives and activations
  • Build brand visibility and thought leadership and continue to find new ways to reach ShopBack\'s target audience at large
  • Make data-driven decisions utilizing internal and external tools to evaluate, track, monitor and optimize key metrics across all channels
  • Continuously identify and implement improvement opportunities for the team and function by remaining up-to-date with the latest trends in media, content, social media, partnerships and the e-Commerce landscape
Requirements
  • 8+ years as a lead or manager within Brand, Social Media and / or Communications function within a tech or e-Commerce environment
  • Experience leading high performing teams with at least 3+ years as a people manager
  • Adept at conceptualizing and driving innovative marketing plans with defined objectives and KPIs
  • Ability to manage marketing budgets with the goal of ensuring investments are aligned with business objectives and efficiency measures
  • Deep understanding of the media and content landscape in the market with multi-channel marketing experience.
  • Proven relationships and network with media owners, partners and influencers is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Bahasa
  • Ability to project manage and multitask in a dynamic and result-oriented environment
  • Not afraid of uncharted territory/ always open to explore something foreign and new. Can\'t-is-not-an-option attitude. Not discouraged by failure or mistake.
  • Enjoys exploring ideas, get excited by the changing consumer landscape and audience behavior
