And we\'re absolutely committed to building a culture where our people can do just that.We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Senior Business Analyst.Purpose of RoleThe Senior Business Analyst at Vistra will serve as the pivotal link between technology and the wider business, by optimizing the ViewPoint system landscape within Vistra. The role involves detailed business analysis, delivery of requirements catered for business & IT, solution design and problem solving. You will work closely with internal stakeholders in e.g. business, IT.About the Operations Technology TeamThe Operations Technology team acts as the operations business owner for key Service Delivery applications across Corporate & Fund Services. Corporate Services domain areas include Entity Management, Document Management Systems (DMS), Client KYC and Screening, Client Regulatory Filings, Client Accounting and Payments and Productivity apps such as Workflow Management. We translate commercial and market business requirements into actionable needs and executable application roadmaps. The team is responsible for executing the Service Delivery application strategy, deploying enhancements, and application implementation.Scope

  • Independently conduct end to end quality and timely business analysis, requirements gathering and solution design.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in business and IT for requirement gathering, solution design and implementation
  • Effectively manage the prioritisation and delivery of own backlog with accountability. This can include both BAU and projects.
Key responsibilities
  • Business Analysis: Conduct the end to end quality and timely business analysis. This includes but not limited to
  • Identifying and understanding the problem and business case
  • Defining the scope and requirements (functional and non functional) in a structured manner e.g. request, objectives, desired outcomes and timelines
  • Planning comprehensive scope of analysis and conducting the analysis. This includes (but not limited to) identification of root causes, dependencies & blockers drivers, inputs & outputs, assumptions validation and detailed impact analysis.
  • Designing of solutions in conjunction with technical feasibility.
  • Documenting requirements and process mapping to industry standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
  • Work closely and manage internal stakeholders to understand the business, business requirements, ensure alignment at every stage, manage prioritisation & expectations, obtain approvals etc.
  • Effectively present technical information that is easily digestible by business users
  • Efficiently communicate in a clear and concise manner.
  • Sprint process:
  • Translate business requirements to system requirements (Epic / User Stories / Tasks / Bugs) in an AGILE environment for IT development
  • Support Quality Acceptance process
  • Drive User Acceptance Testing with end users and IT
Essential Experience and Skills
  • Direct ViewPoint product expertise: Strong functional, (technical - a plus) of Entity Management
  • Client Service Knowledge: Knowledge of the entity management client service offering, products, operational processes, data and controls.
  • Technical Familiarity: Familiar with available technologies relevant to the component(s) e.g. direct experience of ViewPoint application (a plus) and in key Microsoft applications
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to adapt language and communication style to suit the intended recipient.
  • Planning and Organization: Effective planning and organizational skills to manage competing time and priorities.
  • Business Analysis: Advanced business analysis skills to understand business needs and gather requirements in a structured manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills with the ability to contribute meaningfully to solution design, ensuring due regard to the business perspective.
  • Requirements and Process documentation: Competency in efficient requirements gathering and documentation, process mapping.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively on project / BAU simultaneously
  • Global Experience: Experience of working with global technical teams and applications in a services-based organization.
  • Language Skills: Professional fluency in written and oral English.
Education and Professional Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor\'s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field or comparable working experience.
  • Professional Certifications: Relevant certifications in Business analytics
