Our vibrant employee communities respect and value individual experience and perspective as we aim to improve lives and the access to healthcare.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:The APAC Senior Business Continuity and Physical Security Specialist will be responsible for working with stakeholders to implement Medtronic\xe2\x80\x99s Global Value Stream Business Continuity Program across our APAC sites and support functions that enables the identification, assessment, and management of strategic value stream risks and risk mitigation plans. In addition, they will participate as a member of the APAC crisis management team to respond and recover from disruptive events as quickly as possible. This requires a natural curiosity, proficiency with project management, strong relationship building, interest, and an ability to communicate and execute while under pressure.Provides day to day operational direction and leadership to all aspects of security operations in the regionDrives forward the regional security plan to address anticipated or current threats and vulnerabilitiesBuild and maintain strong working relationships with employees and key leaders.Maintains close relationships with law enforcement, governmental agencies, professional organizations, community emergency responders, intelligence, and private sector counterpartsConduct, direct and oversee internal investigations as they pertain to threats against Medtronic, it\xe2\x80\x99s property, employees, or interests, in cooperation and coordination with other relevant functions. Reviews and evaluates all security related incidents and makes recommendations to preclude recurrence.Provides guidance and interpretation about security standards, practices, and programs to support regional and global business and security initiativesIdentify & mitigate threats in accordance with Medtronic\xe2\x80\x99s workplace violence and threat management programOther duties as assignedPeriodic travel may be required:
25% within APACRequired Knowledge and Experience:Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in any fieldMinimum of 7 years of relevant hands-on experience in business continuity, risk management, crisis response and/or physical security in complex organization environments; or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant hands-on experience in business continuity, risk management, crisis response and/or supply chain in large, complex organization environments.Master in Business, Engineering, or Supply Chain is an advantageThe following certifications would be a plus:Business Continuity CertifiedCPP (Certified Protection Professional), PCI (Payment card Industry), PSP (Physical Security Professional), APP (Associate Protection Professional) certifiedPMI (Project Management Institute) certified and/or CPM (Certified Project Manager)Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higherExcellent written and verbal presentation skillsExcellent influencing, process thinking, change management, and data analysis skillsExperience in a manufacturing environment and/or supply chainExperience with SAP (Systems, Applications & Products) and/or other systems related to Bill of Material, Planning, Logistics and Product Lifecycle ManagementPhysical Job RequirementsThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.Benefits & CompensationMedtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package
