Join us in this role where you'll support our organisation in managing external spend and use of internal resources. You'll ensure high data quality in monthly reporting and forecasting.

Welcome to Orsted Business Services

You'll be part of Cost Reporting & Controlling under Financial Accounting and Controlling team where you, together with your colleagues, will be part of a global team servicing the business with management reporting and budgets. You'll join a talented and dedicated team of 10 people, located in Poland and Malaysia. You'll work closely together with team members to support the Orsted indirect functions with reporting of department cost, internal projects and external cost providing data for decision making.

You'll play an important role in:

being responsible for the monthly reporting and controlling of selected parts of the organisation by following up on internal and external cost using various data sources performing month-end accounting activities for assigned areas and update forecasts, identifying and addressing any discrepancies between actual and forecasted costs coordinating process of preparing forecasts for the business in close cooperation with team members and stakeholders working closely with our finance business partners to understand performance drivers and cost development providing ad-hoc support to the business lead streamlining and optimizing processes and ensuring standardised work across the team.

To succeed in the role, you:

holds a master's degree in accounting, controlling, or a related discipline, providing a strong foundation in financial principels and business acumen experienced in cost controlling, forecasting, and financial reporting, with a strong track record of delivering accurate insights that support strategic decision demonstrates advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI, enabling efficient data analysis and visualization. Familiarity with SAP, SAP BPC, and SAP Analytics Cloud is a significant advantage thrives in a collaborative environment, working effectively with diverse stakeholders across functions and geographies, and is comfortable supporting EU working hours (up to 8 PM) are proactive and self-driven, consistently seeking opportunities to improve processes and challenge the status quo, while maintaining a structured and detail-oriented approach to tasks communicates with clarity and confidence, presenting financial results and insights in a way that is easily understood by both technical and non-technical audiences.
