\xef\xbb\xbfClient Background: ManufacturingIndustry : EMSLocation: Senai, Johor.Headcount: 1Position Title : Senior BuyerTenure: PermanentRemuneration: RM5,000 - RM6,500Responsibilities\xc2\xb7 Responsible for sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the company.\xc2\xb7 Work closely with vendors to negotiate pricing and ensure timely delivery of goods. Ensure continuous apply of required goods and materials and to communicate any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.\xc2\xb7 Evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationship with vendors.\xc2\xb7 Evaluates procurement data and monitors key purchasing metrics.\xc2\xb7 Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and minimize waste.\xc2\xb7 Coordinate with internal CFT team & work together with buyer in the ECO roll in plan to minimize the potential exposure.\xc2\xb7 Provide guidance and support to junior members of the purchasing team.\xc2\xb7 Handle NPI projects & able to work with internal CFT team on all material related issues.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of inventory and supply chain management.\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP system\xc2\xb7 Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned by immediate supervisor.Requirement\xc2\xb7 Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s Degree, a, or Professional Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field\xc2\xb7 At least 3-5 year(s) of working experience in purchasing/supply chain\xc2\xb7 A candidate with a purchasing/sourcing background in the EMS environment will have an added advantage.Sub Specialization : Supply Chain & Logistics;Purchasing / Buyer
