Job Description

Responsibilities:
Develop and implement supply chain and procurement strategies that align with business objectives and ensure that all materials and services are procured at the best value.

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to ensure quality, cost, and delivery targets are met.
• Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments, including sales, marketing, products, and operations, to ensure that procurement activities are aligned with business needs.
• Manage inventory levels and logistics, ensuring that all products and materials are delivered on time and in the required quantities.
• Analyze supply chain data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring that they meet or exceed performance expectations.
• Provide regular reports on procurement and supply chain activities, as well as recommendations for process improvements.
• Experience in sourcing parts/machinery from China and is able to communicate effectively with Chinese suppliers.

Requirements:

• Interest in the agriculture and drone industry
• Ability to work in a dynamic, agile and cross borders environment
• Experience in supply chain management, procurement, or a related field.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools
• Languages: English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Open to learning new systems and programs ranging from inventory management system to POS system (experience using Unleashed software is a plus)
• Curiosity and the right mindset to constantly strive for excellence is a must!

Job Type: Full-time Salary: RM3,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month Benefits:

• Subang Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Sourcing item from China: 1 year (Preferred)
• procurement/sourcing: 1 year (Preferred)

Language:

• Mandarin (Preferred)
