JOB PURPOSE Reporting to the Designer Lead, the Senior Copywriter, will be responsible working closely with the Graphic Designers to create relevant and meaningful work for our target audience through multiple channels. In this role, you will develop the most effective ways to position Taylor\'s offerings from both a copy and visual standpoint for the marketing initiatives. Also, mainly drive the creation of clear and inspiring copy and content for all Taylor\'s campaign and media touch points ie BTL collaterals, digital ads and potentially ATL as well (deliver the words and verbal content that accompanies the visual elements). The writing style and content in overall marketing design assets and campaigns across Taylor\'s should speak directly to our audience, evoke desired emotions leading to brand preference and brand love. The ideal candidate will have a strong writing background and experience not only in writing copy for campaigns (traditional/digital) but also in redeveloping content that is meaningful and useful to our intended target audience. You will be assisting in developing big creative ideas including copy, headlines, call-to-action and campaign ideas for direct mail, communication materials including SMS/Whatsapp, marketing and digital promotions, video scripts, presentation scripts, presentations, collateral, websites, print advertisements and marketing collaterals. The role works closely with multiple stakeholders across the Marketing and Communication department, including Marketing, Student Recruitment, Public Relations, Digital and Content to cater for various audience group. Working alongside our in- house Creative team and other cross-functional stakeholders mainly Marketing and Digital department, you will also work directly with agency management to deliver both strategy and implementation with regards to both social and digital marketing strategies for Taylor\'s University and Taylor\'s College. This role will be interfacing with multiple areas of the organization and should possess exceptional communications, analytical skills (to articulate project brief), sharp in details of work and keep up to date with the latest creative & copywriting development. KEY RESULT AREAS / RESPONSIBILITIES Creative and Brand Guidelines Champion the Taylor\'s brand with an eye for both present and future business objectives, customer pain points, and strategic directions. To write clear, compelling, engaging copy with a distinct voice that adheres to the company\'s style guidelines and brand voice. Be a custodian of all things copy to ensure consistent brand tone and brand identity. Integrate corporate/marketing brand messaging and product positioning into copy. Write clean copy that uses active sentences, attention-grabbing headlines, and has an intuitive flow of information. Communicate Taylor\'s brand message with impact, meaning, precision, and consistency. Review and redevelop copy (short and long form) and content for all existing collaterals (brochures, prospectus), and other consumer touch points. Recommend additional content, edits to content, and removal of content based on project objectives. Confirm that all copy has been approved through the proper review channel before being published. Accountable for checking all the content being advertised is truthful and complies with codes of advertising practice. JOB SPECIFICATIONS Minimum Qualification Bachelor\'s degree in general field with emphasis on writing, or equivalent experience, 3-5 years proven experience in relevant job roles within publishing media, creative or contributing editor. Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. Strong command in English. Proficiency in Malay and/or Chinese is an added advantage. Excellent copy writing skills, ideally you have a writing background for brand campaigns. Good understanding of SEO skills/principles is an added advantage.
