Job Description

Job Responsibilities Formulate external communications strategy through competitive research, appropriate channels, messaging and audience. Execute communications strategy to educate media, customers, opinion leaders, analysts, partners and Celcomdigi employees about our approach to industry policies, products and services, company culture, and employer brand. Collaborate with other Divisions (i.e. Finance, Consumer Business, Technology, etc.) and regional teams to create compelling strategies that illustrate our good business governance, and benefits of our products and services. Develop close, productive relationships with journalists, social influencers, product reviewers and business partners to drive positive, impactful coverage and counter misinformation that might interfere with our ability to serve our customers. Develop written materials, including story pitches, messaging guidelines, press releases, Q&As, blog posts, video scripts, web copy, presentations and speeches. Analyse coverage data/ insights, and utilise new tools (ie. SEO) to optimise media outreach. Provide advice to company spokespersons for press conferences, media interviews and speaking engagements, and manage a PR agency to help support day-to-day inquiries, special projects, and events. Job Requirements 5-10 years of experience. Bachelor\'s degree, preferably in Communications, PR, mass media, political science, marketing, new media or related fields. Demonstrated success in a communications role with strong media relations experience and exceptional writing and editing skills, including the ability to write for a variety of audiences and communications mediums. Project/ event/ campaign management skills. Strong stakeholder managements skills to engage with internal and external counterparts. Extremely detail oriented, comfortable developing and working on multiple projects, plans and timelines. Flexible, level-headed and able to work effectively under pressure and strict deadline. Fluent in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
