Leveraging your expertise in electrical engineering and your in-depth understanding of data centre infrastructure, you will lead the development of innovative solutions to meet the demanding requirements of high-density computing environments.You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, architects, project managers, and clients, to deliver cutting-edge electrical designs that ensure the reliability, efficiency, and scalability of data centre operations. From concept development and detailed design to construction oversight and commissioning, you will be instrumental in delivering projects of exceptional quality on time and within budget.The Opportunity

• Prepare, oversee, and review project reports for clients summarising key issues and strategically advising on best outcomes under supervision.
• Liaise with other disciplines within the region, providing particular expertise on electrical engineering as appropriate.
• Provide detailed technical input across a broad range of projects within the electrical engineering business and related areas.
• Manage project staff, quality, delivery, predicting and planning future resources.
• Represent Arup at internal and external meetings including leading approvals negotiations and be a competent communicator.

• Relevant tertiary qualification within MEP (Electrical) engineering with design experience knowledge in consulting and successful project management experience in the MEP sector, especially SIT and Data Centres.
• Proficiency in relevant software and design tools.
• Experience in leading the development and implementation of electrical engineering solutions across a range of projects.
• Strong technical expertise in Electrical Engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
