KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Risk & Quality Management: oversee project risk management, Completion management procedure and guideline, promote good industrial practices, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the delivery of quality services and drive continue improvement within the department/division. Work closely with the managers to develop plans, procedures and training to ensure the quality system supports departmental/divisional goals.
• Risk focus to identify, assess and mitigate project or corporation risks. Establishing a risk register to monitor the effectiveness of the mitigation plans in reducing risks.
• Monitor and evaluate each step of a project to ensure that it is meeting budgetary and schedule. Recommended for staffing needs, schedule changes, project scope adjustments if necessary.
• Analyze progress reported against the work schedules; and recommend actions to improve progress.
• Establish a Completion Management system to ensure a smooth handover of the project, with defined project strategies.
• Performance Site inspection and Technical audit when as required.
• Manage the tendering, contracting, procurement and scope change process to ensure compliance to procurement procedures and policies.
• Establish and review ME policies, procedures & guidelines, standards and ensure audits and compliance.
• Responsible for Departmental KPI targets and cascading the KPI targets to subordinates.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Possess a minimum Degree in relevant field preferably in Project Management / Engineering / Quantity Survey.
• More than 8 years of relevant practical experience in power station, project management or any other related industries.

SKILLS:

• Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles including delegation of work, training of subordinates, performance evaluation, discipline and hiring.
• Knowledge of the principles, methods, manufacturer\'s manuals, and standard procedures in the maintenance and repair of power station equipment.
• Knowledge of plant safety and accident prevention measures required for maintaining and repairing all power plant equipment.
• Knowledge of Project management skills and ability to use any Project Control software.
• Ability to analyze difficult and unusual technical operation or repair problems.
• Ability to maintain, interpret and analyze records and data.
• Knowledge on Grid Code, and Statutory requirements.

SPECIAL ASPECTS/MAJOR CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:

• Good knowledge on ISO Quality Management system, Computer Maintenance Management System (SAP), Generation Asset management Policy, and Contractor Management System.
• Business acumen on SEB Power and SEB Group.
• To perform all tasks in line with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the ISMS roles and responsibilities procedure.
• To perform all tasks in line with the Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines.
