Responsibilities Responsible for the set-up and operation of survey equipment on, and/or leading, projects of medium to high complexity. Execution of some positioning and navigation and data acquisition tasks. Responsible for the set-up, interfacing, networking, testing, operation, repair, and maintenance of survey equipment the compilation of engineering/survey reports and the appropriate QC of data and reports. Support the marine oil & gas, offshore wind farm, hydrographic, or submarine cable industries. Responsible for all engineering-related aspects of the project, including the supervision/training of more junior team members. Requirements Degree (or equivalent) in electronic or electrical engineering. A minimum of 5 years of proven offshore experience in either marine geophysical (analogue and / or digital) survey acquisition, or marine subsea construction / positioning \' or preferably both. Proven experience with surface and subsea positioning systems as a minimum, and preferably also subsea analogue or digital seismic survey data acquisition systems. AUV operational and payload systems experience is highly desirable. Good ability in verbal and written English (technical) language is required.
