-Liaise with clients to find out their exact event requirements -Produce detailed event proposal (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets) -Research/meet suppliers and contractors, then negotiate prices and hire -Manage and coordinate suppliers and all event logistics (venue, catering, travel, etc) -Propose marketing materials to publicise and promote the event -Manage all pre-event planning, organizing guest speakers and delegate packs -Coordinate suppliers, handle client queries and troubleshoot on the day of the event to ensure that all runs smoothly and to budget -Manage & giving full briefings to necessary parties - be it suppliers or speakers -Be familiar with virtual events including platforms available; their pros-cons, etc, in order to propose the right fit for Client -Oversee the dismantling and removal of the event and clear the venue efficiently -Produce post-event evaluation report -Research opportunities for new clients and events -Travel to support project needs may also be required from time to time -Project-manage non-event related projects
