Job Description


Duties and Responsibilities Stakeholder Relations

  • Plan, coordinate and organize special relationship programs, to enhance customer relationship and assist in the sales of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s products/services.
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with the authorities/government/customers to create business opportunities and for public relations purposes.
  • Coordinates and executes the organization\xe2\x80\x99s social programmes that are developed to respond to the needs of the community.
  • Coordinate all approved sponsorship and donations requests and inform respective departments accordingly.
  • To manage staff related activities in collaboration with Human Resource Department.
  • To handle and monitor customer complaints identifying the root cause and addressing them to the respective department and respond to the customer accordingly as to maintain the customer relationship and corporate image of Pelaburan Hartanah Berhad.
Media Relations
  • Establish and maintain good rapport with the media to create opportunities for publicity coverage on the organization\xe2\x80\x99s products/services in the media.
  • Responsible in the media liaison for any enquiries pertaining to the organization as well as lobbying for coverage.
  • Develop press releases, statements for the organization\xe2\x80\x99s products and services.
  • Ensure that the information provided in the press releases/statements/fact sheets is correct.
  • Ensure that the press releases/invites/statements are being sent on time, which is agreed upon.
  • Monitor the press releases/statements coverage in the newspaper.
Editorial
  • Develop editorial write-ups namely speeches, article for Business Magazine and Trade Directory and newspapers for the organization\xe2\x80\x99s products/services.
  • Coordinate and develop fact-sheets for the organization\xe2\x80\x99s products/services for the media usage.
  • Plan, write and edit external communications tools such as publications, letters and notices, which are sent to the external parties.
  • Plan, write and edit contents with reference to the organization\xe2\x80\x99s products/services provided for the organization\xe2\x80\x99s website and portal.
Event Management Assist the Officer in charge in Event Management on the following tasks:
  • Provide creative concept, design, planning and coordination of launches.
  • Coordinating press conference, open houses, visiting officials, religious events and various other types of events for the organization.
  • To process bookings for all events.
  • Liaison with other divisions/ departments within the organisation to ensure successful event.
  • Organise post-mortem / follow-up activities for shows / events.
Advertising and Promotions Assist the Office in Charge in Advertising and promotion on the following tasks:
  • Coordinates the purchasing of print space in newspapers and magazines, broadcast time in radio and TV as well as in website.
  • Organise advertising and coordinate scheduling for the print media.
  • To develop a combination of media that will enable the marketer to communicate the message in the most effective manner.
  • Promotes the organization s image and activities in conjunction with the sales units of various divisions.
  • Collaborate with advertising agency and printer in developing campaigns.
  • To be responsible for all IT-related activities of Corporate Communications that includes website management and portal.
  • Responsible in the production of marketing collaterals and corporate gifts.
  • Plan, coordinate and organize exhibitions/road shows to assist in the sales of the organization\xe2\x80\x99s products/services.
Requirements
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies, Business or related fields.
  • Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English both written and oral
  • Highly motivated, meticulous and must be able to work as a team
  • At least 3 to 5 years working experience in corporate communication, public relations, advertising and/or event management.
  • Wide exposure to corporate and/or branding and positioning strategies
  • Proactive and reactive media relation knowledge
  • Ability to meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment with strong-organizational and time management skills
  • Strong computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office application or other computer-aided software), ability to prioritize, organize and coordinate with minimum supervision.
