Senior Executive, Customer Operations (seafreight)

Job Description


We are looking for Senior in the subject of sea-freight expert (acting as an agent), the role is expected talent to prepare, control, and distribute all required Import/Export document Identify performance issues of suppliers, and propose solutions to improve performance and most importantly, update Customs shipment information and physical status, resolve customer issues and incidents. Implement OFR Ops/CS plans and processes to provide ocean freight services for internal and external customers. Analyze and collate to provide requirements of freight control center, and to support and provide operations team with the required details, information and instructions for operational performance. Coordinate freight administration in providing allocation and reservations of freight on planned line haul. Contribute to develop and execute plans for ocean freight products in areas such as perishables, pharmaceutical, aviation, etc. Identify opportunities to expand business with new clients and continuously improve in-house customer services Build close business relationship with existing clients, conduct customer visits and maintain a desired level of customer retention. Stay updated on account performances, draft and provide monthly reports to management. Implement pricing strategy and respond to pricing enquiries in an efficient and competitive manner. Deliver day-to-day shipment documentation for freight forwarding, assist in development of shipping tenders and ensure on-time submission on relevant documents. Seek opportunities to enhance ocean freight productivity, and efficient resource allocation and utilization. Analyze and provide input for processes and design systems to enhance service quality. Resolve and analyze issues in day-to-day delivery and implement practices for OFR Ops/CS focusing on increasing effectiveness and efficiency. Provide support on issues and problems from less experienced/ new team members, provide direction and guidance as needed. Job Requirements Bachelor\'s degree in Logistics, Business Management or any relevant academic background. Min. Requirement of 6 years working experience as subject expert in sea-freight for import/export full cycle process not limited to billing & invoicing. Skill/Knowledge Required: FCL & LCL processes, have connection with shipping carrier, and custom declaration process include documentation portion. Candidate who has experiences in CargoWise1 or any shipment booking system will be advantage.
