Job Description


To support and assist all direct and indirect tax related matters to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and authorities to meet the financial requirements of the Company and the Group.

Responsibilities:

Taxation

  • Responsible for managing the tax obligations of the Company and its subsidiaries in Singapore
  • To assist Singapore transfer pricing documentation prepared by tax consultant in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • To assist tax computation prepared by tax consultant for subsidiary company in singapore
  • Consult with the Finance team to collect and consolidate all tax data
  • Handling special tax assignment as and when required.
Responsible for managing the tax obligations of the Company in Malaysia
  • Manage sales and services tax return related matters for Malaysia.
  • To handle the estimation of tax payable and revision of tax estimate and ensure timely submission of Form CP204/CP204A
  • Prepare and submission of withholding tax computations for cross border transactions on a timely basis.
  • Coordinate the provision of information to regulatory authorities, external auditors, tax consultants/accountants for tax filing and/or any parties authorised to examine the accounting records
  • Liaise with the external auditors, tax consultants/accountants and regulatory authorities
Reporting & Compliance * To assist and update Malaysia provisional tax computation, provision on a quarterly basis.
  • Responsible for all tax compliance, reporting and filing:
  • Liaise with the external auditors, tax consultants/accountants and regulatory authorities
  • Coordinate the provision of information to regulatory authorities, external auditors, tax consultants/accountants for tax filing and/or any parties authorised to examine the accounting records
  • Ensure all Company and its subsidiaries\' tax records are organised and readily available for examination/inspection
Others
  • Identify and drive tax, accounting and finance process efficiencies and improvements.
  • Provide technical and other support as needed.
  • Assume responsibility for any ad-hoc tasks as directed.
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years\' experience in administrative or secretarial duties
  • Minimum Diploma in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Secretarial or equivalent
  • Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Bahasa Malaysia
  • Matured, independent and results oriented
