The Senior Finance Executive is responsible for managing the company's financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and timely execution of all financial activities. This role supports strategic decision-making by providing clear financial insights and maintaining effective internal controls.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure timely month-end closing activities.
Analyse financial performance, variances, and trends to support management decisions.
Prepare management reports and financial dashboards.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
Assist in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises.
Monitor budget utilisation and highlight deviations for corrective action.
Support long-term financial planning.
3. Accounts Payable & Receivable
Review and verify vendor invoices, staff claims, and payments.
Oversee AR collections and ensure timely follow-ups with customers.
Reconcile AP/AR balances and resolve discrepancies.
4. General Ledger & Reconciliation
Maintain accurate general ledger records.
Prepare bank reconciliation, intercompany reconciliation, and balance sheet schedules.
Ensure supporting documents are complete and properly filed.
5. Taxation & Compliance
Assist in tax computation, SST submissions, and liaise with tax agents.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., LHDN, SSM, audit).
Support annual financial audit and prepare audit schedules.
6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement
Review finance processes to improve efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
Implement best practices for financial operations.
Support system upgrades or digitalisation initiatives.
7. Other Duties
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting requested by management.
Work closely with operations, HR, procurement, and other departments on finance matters.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Minimum
3-5 years
experience in accounting/finance roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards (MFRS), taxation, and financial processes.
Experience with accounting systems (e.g., SQL, SAP, Oracle, AutoCount).
Proficient in Excel (pivot table, VLOOKUP, financial formulas).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Able to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
