Prepare the group / entity financial reporting and ensure the group / entity reporting is in compliance with statutory requirements.
Prepare entity/consolidated financial statements (including worksheets) in accordance with the MFRS, Companies Act, Group accounting policies and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
Prepare quarterly reports (including worksheets) in accordance with the MFRS, Group accounting policies and Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements.
Preparation of Audit Committee and Board papers and reports.
Prepare any ad hoc analysis or reports.
Preparation, reviewing and timely submission of Monthly Financial Reporting (eFRs) and management accounts.
Review of Division or DXC submissions (for financial reporting and tax), including raising and following up on queries.
Assist in reviewing the financial statements of major subsidiaries.
Assist in assessing the financial impact (including fair valuation) on acquisition, liquidation, disposal or divestment of subsidiaries/associates.
Prepare the research/assessment of new accounting standards/pronouncements and undertaking relevant benchmarking exercises.
Assist in responding to queries from external auditors, other departments or Divisions.
Maintenance of the financial consolidation system and other finance systems (e.g. updating chart of accounts, etc.).
Supervise and provides training to new joiners.
Review GHO entity tax computation and ensure tax filing is on time and in compliance with statutory requirements.
To review accounting documents (invoices, DN, CN and related document) and to ensure the Company's standard operating procedures are adhered to.
Preparation of GHO entity/Group budgets and review Division budgets.
Assist in other ad hoc tasks relating to the Group Finance department.
Job Requirement
At least 3 years of experience in the finance department.
Degree in accounting or recognized professional accounting qualification.
Individuals who have completed their professional accounting qualification exams can also be considered.
