Job Summary Responsible to assist Senior Manager/Manager to do the Contract activities throughout project cycle and assist the engineers with all matters relating to contract execution management and monitoring. Ability to measure and estimate building and material costs for projects and report preparation for the projected construction costs. Responsible to administer the tendering process for contractors and subcontractors. Ability to review tender & contract documents and capture the relevant contract clauses for a particular project. Ability to advise on the maintenance costs of specific assets and submitting regular budget reports Proactively support the teams to liaise with Contractor Management Section, Supply chain and Legal on contractual matters, including variation order management, pre and post contract processes Ability to keep track contract expenditure and payment to ensure all projects are aligned, managed and closed out according to contract requirements and contractual positions. Able to provide analysis of material prices periodically. Able to drive a pro-active and integrated approach to professional Contract Execution management in order to enable the individual projects to be executed in an aligned and coordinated manner which delivers overall optimized results of the individual projects to PTP. Responsible for the effective contract execution support and integration of the contract progress with the expenditure of each project To ensure Contracts under execution are aligned with the approved project budget, cash flows, and payment transactions. Ability to support all projects comply with contractual regulations from tendering process, contract award and the contract management phase. Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying/ Engineering or Law or related discipline. Minimum 4 years of experience on contract/commercial management of infrastructure/ equipment projects. Extensive experience working with FIDIC forms of contract, Proven experience in managing multiple contracts with differing levels of complexity. Able to administer, monitor and check all matters relating to the contract, particularly for tender and contract documentation, variation order finalisation, estimate and measurement, contract expenditure, and payment to ensure all projects align with the contract requirement and ensure constant review of projected cash flow and maintain healthiness. Able to do cost estimation based on scope of work of proposed project or maintenance work. This inclusive ability to collect and acquire updated rates for project materials and works for project estimating or comparison. Proficient in Measurement (Taking-Off), MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other MS Windows-based applications, working knowledge in Internet communications (MS Internet Explorer, MS Outlook). Ability to communicate effectively and verbally communicate and write in English
