About our client:

Our client is one of the leading Media Company across the industry. Currently, they are looking for a high caliber Senior Finance Manager to join their team. This role is reporting to CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operations of total finance department for SEA countries, set goals and objectives for the team.
• Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to top management while recommending further courses of action.
• Advise on investment activities and share strategies that the company should take.
• Maintain the financial health of the organization.
• Recommend continuous improvement for the Group to the CFO including but not limited to managing expenses.
• Conduct analysis on costing, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the company's actual performance compared to the business plans.
• Develop trends and projections for the business' finances.
• Handle statutory matters i.e. audit/ taxation/ secretarial and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and international financial reporting standards.
• To deputise the CFO (when required), requiring a wide understanding of the Group's operations and financial management. To support the CFO in meeting the BOD's objectives and its strategic direction.
• To manage and develop the team, providing leadership as well as the setting of appropriate objectives. To identify gaps in the knowledge of team members and to put in place training systems and processes.
• To support the CFO on special projects or any other duties from time to time.
• Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits.

Key Requirements:

• Min degree in Accounting and Finance or ACCA/CPA/MIA.
• Min 8-10 years of working experience in Accounting and finance.
• Candidates comes from the audit background will be an added advantage.
• Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the industry and general market patterns.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with good business acumen.
• A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles, statutory legislation and regulations.
