Job Title Senior Financial Analyst




































What is the opportunity? The Finance team at RBC Malaysia provides Finance and Accounting support to RBC Malaysia locally, in addition to all of RBC\xe2\x80\x99s businesses in Hong Kong, Singapore and Australia. The Finance operations in Malaysia is the Center of Expertise for APAC Finance, providing Accounts Payable, Financial Control, Product Control and Performance Management services. The objectives for Malaysia Finance is to provide First Class accounting services to our stakeholders in Asia Pacific, and to enable onshore Finance teams to fulfil their roles as valued Finance business partners. Region : Hong Kong Working hours: 9:00AM \xe2\x80\x93 6:00PM What will you do?

  • Support the Hong Kong Financial Control function through quality and efficient financial accounting, control and reporting of Hong Kong entities.
  • Contribute to the Finance business partnering in Hong Kong in support of country and business strategies.
  • Complete Statutory and Regulatory filings and designated Finance and Head Office reporting in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the financial accounting records for Hong Kong. This includes, but not limited to: review and commentary of the non-trading P&L, monthly balance-sheet attestation and preparation of NIE and balance sheet journals.
  • Prepare reporting in line with RBC and statutory requirements, e.g. Standard of Documentation packages, SOX, GL attestation, home surveys, and Finance and Tax submissions to home authorities.
  • Prepare Intra-Group and Transfer Pricing invoices and booking of corresponding entries.
  • Collaborate with Accounts Payable COE to ensure accounts payable and fixed assets are accounted for accurately and timely.
  • Assist with year-end audit.
What do you need to succeed? Must-have
  • 5 + years of experience related to finance discipline, preferably Accounting, Audit, Management Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Working knowledge and application of accounting concepts within a Financial Institution.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
