Core Job Responsibilities

• Work and interact with a wide variety of NI staff in Mfg Engineering and Operation organizations, as well as employees from other business groups, in Austin, Hungary and Penang, Malaysia.
• Influence a diverse but geographically aligned group to work toward common goals within a local context.
• Responsible for overall factory layout, capacity planning, time study & time standards and to quantify the theoretical Cycle Time establishment.
• Managing the Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and tactical expense planning for assigned cost centre.
• Responsible for productivity improvement projects and oversee and strategize the resource optimization.
• Directing and managing NPI resource & capacity planning in addition to other local and global projects.
• Leading & supervising Industrial Engineering team member performance, inclusive of regular coaching, mentoring, career development planning, and developing subject matter expertise within the IE Discipline.
• Develop and maintain the Industrial Engineering site succession plan aligned with global vision and strategy.

Education Bachelor\'s/Master\'s Degree in Engineering. Minimum 8 years and above of relevant experiences. Experience & Skills

• Must have experience in CAPEX management, lean management, capacity and layout management and continuous improvement.
• Good Industrial Engineering knowledge inclusive of the following:
  • Plant layout & Ergonomics
  • Factory operations
  • Automation/Innovation research
  • Capacity planning
  • Methods engineering
  • Work measurement and simulation techniques
  • Operational modelling
  • Cost engineering & business acumen
• Independent, resourceful and takes initiative. Effective communication skills and able to work independently with functional team.
• Proven record in leadership and project, people, and change management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with fast decision-making ability
• Highly self-motivated and team-oriented attitude.
