Job Description

Job Purpose



Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Evaluates new applications and identifies systems requirements. Evaluates new IT developments and evolving business requirements and recommends appropriate systems alternatives and/or enhancements to current systems. Prepares communications and makes presentations on system enhancements and/or alternative.

Key Roles and Responsibilities



(1) Partners with business area in process mapping, process reviews, and identification of process improvements to ensure clear understanding of processes required for business area to operate efficiently.

(2) Evaluating Business Outcomes: Outline costs, benefits, and outcomes for IT projects

(3) Translate Business Requirements into Functional Design Specifications: Translate business requirements into detailed functional design specifications that can be understood by developers and system architects

(4) Conduct System Configuration and Testing: Configure systems to meet business requirements and conduct thorough testing to ensure functionality and data integrity

(5) Supports assignment of priorities for projects and work requests with business user councils and IS management to ensure resources are allocated properly.

(6) Provide Expert Guidance and Support: Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to business users on system functionality, best practices, and issue resolution. Understand all tools the company currently employs across all functions.

(7) Manages small- to medium-sized projects; provides project management framework/methodology for all team members to deliver desired result.

(8) Contribute to Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, staying abreast of new trends and identifying opportunities to enhance IT processes, systems, and service delivery.

(9) Presents project status to IS management and business steering committees to ensure visibility to progress, results, issues, and decision points.

(10) Performs other duties within scope as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications



Required skills and qualifications



5 years related experience with Bachelor's degree OR 3 years related experience with Master's degree Required. Three years SAP & Dynamic business functional area experience in one or more key "modules" or systems development related experience, including SAP & Dynamic Configuration and participation on successful project teams.

Preferred skills and qualifications



Exposure experience relevant in manufacturing industry and/or as consultant preferred Strong working knowledge of relevant Microsoft applications Proven ability to manage projects and user testing Proactive working attitude and result-oriented team player, able to work under pressure and deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication Hands-on and independent individual who possess initiative, adaptability and can communicate effectively and collaboratively in a multi-cultural team Detailed oriented, matured and multi-tasking skills
