• Participate actively in the improvement of customer experience by planning, designing, and deploying high quality network solution and services to ensure customer satisfaction in Sarawak Energy.
• Manage and maintain the documentation of network architecture.
• Lead requirement gathering activities and develop network design solutions.
• Participate in network implementation projects and works.
• Participate in Capacity Management tasks and activities as and when necessary.
• Work closely with the project team and internal ICT Digital Operation staff to ensure smooth transitioning of services from projects to operations by proper knowledge transfer and handover.
• Proactively study and propose new technology as and when required by the supervisor.

SPECIAL ASPECTS/MAJOR CHALLENGES OF THE JOB:

• Identifying, evaluating, and recommending new innovative ICT network technologies/ applications/ infrastructures that can meet future business needs.
• Analysing and translating business requirements and objectives into implementable ICT network solutions.
• To perform all tasks in line with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the ISMS roles and responsibilities procedure.
• To perform all tasks in line with the Corporate Governance, Policies and Guidelines.

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Network Engineering/ Computer Science/ IT/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant working experience in ICT or related area including 3 years in enterprise ICT network infrastructure.
• Possess professional-level certification in technical networking discipline (e.g. CCNP, JCNP, or equivalent). IT certification(s) in IT servers and systems (e.g. MCSA) and IT architecture (e.g. TOGAF) would be an added advantage.
• Possess past working experience in network management, monitoring, design, and planning of network expansion.
• Possess past working experience in ICT networking in Operations Technology (OT) environment, financial management, ICT procurement, vendor management, and project management would be an added advantage.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Proficient in network management skills especially in monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration.
• Technical skills in designing, planning, and deploying LAN and WAN network functions including switches, routers, VPN, wireless, NMS network security, etc.
• Good communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
• Basic knowledge of ICT architecture concepts and development approaches.
