Job Summary

The Senior IT Operations Analyst will be based in Bukit Minyak, Penang.

In this role, you will be In-charge of performing operational processes and procedures to ensure all IT services, systems, and infrastructure meet business needs.

Responsibilities:

Define, design, implement and maintain IT servers/databases and critical production systems infrastructure.

Improve performance of databases and ensure systems & processes are compliant with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Work closely with support team to provide database life cycle support for mission critical SQL Server databases using various DB tools and techniques.

Anticipate, mitigate, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues on servers and databases.

Oversee systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.

Project management responsibilities include delivering projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or any relevant discipline.

At least 6-9 years of working experience in related field and preferably with manufacturing exposure.

Excellent knowledge and hands-on experience of IT management, application systems and its IT infrastructure including of server computing, cloud computing, LAN & WAN network, security, etc.

Well-versed in current technological trends and familiar with a variety of business concepts.

Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work off working hour whenever necessary.
