JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee and coordinate daily logistics operations
Manage inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely delivery
Respond to inquiries from both international and domestic clients, coordinate shipment arrangements with clients, and compile all necessary import and export shipping documentation
Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transport companies to ensure smooth operations
Produce official quotations for the customers, create and distribute comprehensive invoices, complete the necessary shipping documentation for filling, and generate relevant reports
Monitor the status of import and export shipment tracking ETD/ETA to ensure prompt delivery and meet customer expectations
Regularly update customers on the status of their shipments and provide proactive feedback. Cultivate and sustain positive business relationships with clients
Assist customers in facilitating the application process for import duty/tax exemption by providing a certificate or origin, as well as securing necessary import and export permits from government agencies such as SIRIM, CIDB, MIDA/MITI approvals if deemed necessary
Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations
Resolve any logistics issues or discrepancies promptly
Maintain accurate records of logistics transactions and inventory levels
Be familiar with custom Harmonized System tariff codes and able to provide prompt responses to customer inquiries upon request
Adhere to all SOPs and compliance procedures
To undertake any tasks that assigned by superior and the management from time to time
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants must possess at least a diploma or higher qualification in the fields of business, marketing, logistics or supply chain management
Preference will be given to candidates with a
minimum 3
years
of professional experience in the field of
Freight Forwarding or Logistics Companies
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Proficient in written and verbal communication skills in multilingual English, Chinese and Malay. Preferable
candidates that are fluent in Mandarin speaking
abilities to liaise with mandarin speaking clients
Good teamwork, mature thinking, self-motivated, customer-focused, and great phone etiquette
Excellent & positive working attitude with high degree of self-motivation
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
