As a Junior Logistics Executive, you will assist in coordinating and monitoring logistics operations to ensure the smooth movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and customers. You will support documentation handling, shipment tracking, customs coordination, and inventory monitoring while maintaining strong communication with freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a solid foundation in logistics and supply chain management, with hands-on experience in international and local shipment processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
Track shipment status with freight forwarders and provide regular updates to relevant teams.
Prepare and verify shipping and customs documents (e.g., BL, COO, Invoice, Packing List, HS Codes).
Support customs clearance procedures and liaise with relevant authorities when required.
Record, file, and maintain logistics documentation for compliance and audit purposes.
Monitor warehouse stock movements and assist in inventory tracking.
Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and internal departments to resolve any logistics-related issues.
Assist in compiling logistics reports, such as shipment timelines, cost tracking, and delivery performance.
Support continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency in logistics processes.
Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and international trade regulations.
Key Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
0-2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related functions (internship experience acceptable).
Basic knowledge of shipping and customs procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with ERP/WMS systems is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Eagerness to learn and grow within logistics and supply chain functions.
Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is essential. English or Malay language skills are a plus for liaising with suppliers and authorities.
