Job Description

Job Purpose:1.Innovate the range of Beverages & Coffee within Mynews group of companies.2.Develop and implement Maru caf concept into actual store.3.Plan out key strategies for the appointed categories to help grow the category & segment. This includes driving product insights, roadmap, marketing, and the category\'s P&L.4.SOP creation for existing flow of operation at store level for existing and new product development 5.Ensure operation excellence (including training) for all beverages related promotions, new product launches and other related activities. 6. Provide feedback on store layout for beverage section and caf concept to ensure efficient process flow and maximised customer experience.Job Responsibilities & Accountabilities:1.Create strategy, direction and opportunities for beverage category and caf concept.2.Leading cross functional teams on all new product development - brief, ideation, exploration, specs finalization 3.Develop product pricing strategy and liaise with internal departments in vendor negotiation in procuring raw materials, creating instore display standard, advertising, and monthly promotional plan. 4.Work with operations / COE on training development, SOP creation and manual in relations to beverage making. 5.Participate in store layout planning committee for beverage section to ensure efficient process flow and maximised customer experience.6.Track and manage P&L of beverage category including beverages related sales and promotion, product development projects, BOM setting and wastages. Regularly report development status, post-mortem report and make recommendations for action.7.Bi-weekly store travel to outlets to get feedback on new products, SOP and engage with customer to gain insights for future developments. Perform market research on beverage trend and competitor analysis.8.Conduct internal panellist product presentation & management product testing for product approval.9.Assist in any adhoc task assigned from time to time. Job Requirements:Must have: 1.Min 10 year(s) of working experience in retail / FMCG / food service industry. Experience leading new product development and leading cross functional teams.2.Excellent project management and organizational skills.3.Strong creative and technical orientation, able to both identify and imagine the possibilities and bring compelling, safe, high-quality beverages to market.Good to have:1.Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Very comfortable working with teams, communicating with others and establishing rapport.2.Experience in retail operation and quick service restaurant / cafes.3. Result oriented, able to work at a fast pace, multi-task.
