Senior Manager, Commercial Excellence (chc)

Job Description


You will drive commercial and business excellence by the design, planning and implementation of commercial processes, projects and initiatives to maximise top and bottom line results. You will work actively and cross-functionally with commercial leadership, finance, marketing and sales, supply chain and other functions, to improve processes, make recommendations around business execution to leaders, and track the performance of commercial operations.

  • Establishing a commercial operating mechanism that enables the Malaysia Consumer Healthcare team to manage the commercial activities, funnel, sales numbers, with rigor and predictability
  • Identifying and supporting the roll out of tools related to: Account planning and Analytics tools (margin management, CRM, etc)
  • Leading and coordinating the local implementation of Commercial Excellence initiatives aligned to regional strategy
  • Driving continuous improvement in the commercial (sales and operations) processes
  • Developing and implementing, together with the Sales and Marketing department, of different marketing & sales projects in line with the strategic imperatives of the organization
  • Contributing to sales and marketing strategic decisions and playing a critical role in designing and monitoring commercial approach
  • Setting KPIs and performance management process, assess regional performance, identify performance gaps and drivers, develop remediation / action plans and deploy resources as needed
  • Translating strategic objectives into operational plans
  • Working horizontally within the region and Business Unit to drive alignment, execution, accountability and results

  • Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent in one of the following areas: Business, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, and/or related field.
  • Flair for IT tools, especially with SFDC. Proficient with Power BI, MS Excel and Powerpoint.
  • At least 5 years\' experience in consumer healthcare / pharmaceutical industry. Sales and Marketing experience would be an added advantage.
  • Strong business acumen and project management skills.
