An exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Conveyancing & Leasing role with a property company.

As this role is essential to the organization, it is vital candidate comes with a track record of delivery and proven experience. Among the many responsibilities are listed below:

• Strategize legal advisory (review, drafting and vetting) on various agreements in respect of retail tenancies and leases.
• Strategize legal advisory (review, drafting and vetting) and attending to the sale and purchase agreements.
• Strategize legal advisory (review, drafting and vetting) and attending to all land related issues/disputes and processes including title searches, application for State Authority consent, registration of transfer, charges, leases, easements, caveats, subdivision, amalgamation, surrender and re-alienation, strata titles application, land premium, replacement of titles etc.
• Negotiate by nurturing trust, foster productive working relationship with counter parties and stakeholders to provide solutions, navigate conflicts and achieve mutual agreements.
• Custodian of original land titles and land related documents and agreements.
• Facilitate all legal dispute for litigation matters in respect of retail/office tenancies and leases and liaise with the appointed solicitors for the strategy and plan to protect Company\'s interest and optimize the success outcome.
• Lead the development, implementation and enforcement of legal framework and systems to ensure consistency of advice and service in the organization as well ensure compliance of relevant policies introduced by Petronas for adoption and use.
• Provision of general legal support and advice on all relevant car park operations and intellectual property.

The ideal Senior Manager will be confident in leading from the front and be responsible for the growth of the company while possessing the below requirements;

• Bachelor\'s of Laws (LL.B) or higher qualifications.
• At least 12+ years of experience as a legal practitioner in a law firm or in-house counsel.
• 7 years working experience in a senior / leadership position in Legal Conveyancing & Leasing.
• Leading multiple cross functional teams including agile team is an added advantage.
• Experience in land matters.
