Job Title Senior Manager, Corporate Real Estate, Asia Pacific
What is the opportunity?
As a Senior Manager, you will manage all aspects of operation and maintenance of multiple physical RBC offices in APAC, and support CRE initiatives.
Also, he/she will need to be responsible for the following:
Communicate the global strategy for and ensure business case development and delivery of Facilities Management to all RBC premises in APAC,
Establish and execute Workplace Services\xe2\x80\x99 Target Operating Model, providing regional subject matter expertise as the Facility Management Centre of Excellence,
Manage and govern the outsourced Service Partner relationship, as well as other 3rd-party vendor relationships covering our Integrated Facility Management practice.
Provide a balanced, cost-effective, and risk-mitigated Facility Management solution, supporting all RBC business needs.
Continuously evolve service provision, generating and importing innovation, industry best practices and emerging technology solutions.
Support development of strategic planning, lease transactions and capital projects

Working hours: 9:00AM \xe2\x80\x93 6:00PM
This position is located in a 24/5 office environment.
The role is critical to supporting RBC operations and will require after-hours commitment from time to time particularly in responding to Facility emergencies
Sporadic travel may be required across APAC
What will you do?
Identify key strategic Workplace initiatives to transform client experience and productivity.
Ensure RBC premises are managed safely in compliance with laws and regulations.
Ensure integration with all aspects of CRE services including strategy, leasing, projects, procurement and finance.
Minimize operational down-time due to facilities-related events.
Ensure 3rd-parties understand, are aligned to, and execute CRE strategies.
Play a lead stakeholder role related to FM Suppliers.
Set the vision for 3rd-party provision of Facility Management goods and services, evolving the collaboration framework.
Own landlord relationships related to operational delivery.
Own the relationships with all major business lines from a Facility Management perspective, ensuring full understanding of their Workplace Services needs. Drive plans to proactively address those needs, consistently improving the quality, efficiency and cost of service delivery.
Act as the principal point of liaison in the event of executive escalations.
Derive maximum productivity from the Service Partner collaboration with the outsourced FM providers.
Quantify client satisfaction and act to maintain or improve it as necessary
Leverage the Service Partner and other industry contacts and relationships to bring best-in-class, up to date Facility Management solutions which address the emerging needs of RBC\xe2\x80\x99s business in region.
Establish and oversee an effective asset management strategy which allows CRE to advise business lines on lifecycle and capital planning.
Lead FM efforts related to crisis resolution, incident management, including the lead role for CRE on Crisis Management Teams.
Deliver CRE Savings targets from the FM service line through innovative procurement strategies and operational efficiencies.
Ensure employees and service providers understand RBC vision, as well as support and reinforce targeted behaviours that contribute to RBC goals.
Provide focus and clarity in establishing goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance.
Leverage the value in unit, department, and enterprise wide teams to develop better solutions and achieve a cross enterprise mindset.
Accept and successfully execute change while supporting employees through the process and keep them focused on business priorities.
What Do You Need to Succeed?
Must Have
University Degree or equivalent experience.
Professional designation related position requirements \xe2\x80\x93 eg. Engineering, Architectural (preferred).
Minimum 10 years real estate experience with at least 5 years management.
Facilities Operations expertise.
Vendor Management capability.
Strong cost control and strategic business acumen.
Strong client focus stakeholder management and responsive to business goals
Proven knowledge of all aspects of facilities management processes and CRE lifecycle
Experience within a Financial institution (preferred)

Ability to multi-task.
Demonstrates motivation and enthusiasm.
Works well in a high pace matrix environment.
