The Senior Manager, Credit Management is responsible to oversee the KL Credit Management team and enhance the credit risk management framework within the organization, ensuring robust credit policies, risk assessment methodologies, and effective credit control measures. In addition, this role requires he/she to have Project Management experience to minimize credit risk exposure while supporting the company's financial objectives and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.Make an Impact by:
  • Oversee and manage a team of project managers, portfolio of projects and programs.
  • Ensure successful delivery across multiple projects through managing and monitoring project plans, milestones, risk and change management to ensure smooth delivery of projects
  • Conduct regular work group meetings and provide project progress and status reports to stakeholders
  • Liaise with Singapore Head Office, act as a single point of contact and oversee the KL Credit Management team and ensure daily operations run smoothly
  • Create and manage credit policies to control risk, set risk limits, and ensure compliance with regulations and goals
  • Develop and implement strategies for effective debt collection and recovery and support annual budgets exercise
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of credit analysts and managers through fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Support resource allocation to ensure credit management function operates efficiently.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for senior management and other stakeholders through providing insights and recommendations on credit-related matters
  • Identify opportunities to improve credit management processes and practices.
  • Implement best practices and new technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to credit risk, including non-performing loans and defaults. Develop strategies to manage and recover from credit crises.
Skills for Success
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent from a reputable institution. (Minimum GPA of 3.0).
Possess minimum 6 years of relevant experience in AR or related field and has experience in leadership roles. Prior experience in call centre management are welcome to apply.Familiarity with Telco billing and collections practices is a plus.Hands-on experience in full project development life cycles and proven UAT Project Management Experience.Experience leading a team of more than 8 staff and overseeing AR operations.Familiar with credit and compliance requirements and has understanding of industry standards and best practices.Experience with credit management software and systems. E.g. SAP S/4Hana, COGNOS, EDW etc.Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools. E.g.
