Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:


In this role, you would be shaping the future of adidas eCommerce in the country and will be driving brand success by realizing adidas\xe2\x80\x99s Own the Game (OTG) strategy. You will be driving the revenue growth of adidas eCommerce by-

  • Living the vision set by the Global eCom team: \xe2\x80\x9cto become the premium destination through an innovative shopping experience\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Implementing and adopting Omnichannel & Consumer-centric approach to doing things
  • Bridging the relationship effectively ensures the country\'s direction & SEA eCom strategies
  • The role is that of a country-specific eCom generalist working very closely with the SEA eCom team



Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring best-in-class online consumer experience
  • Drive the country eCom targets (net sales, margins, online KPI like subscription) following SEA eCom strategies while leveraging on country market intelligence in closer partnership with SEA eCommerce Senior Director and SEA Hub
  • Actively participate in SEA eCom strategy build-up
  • Partner with SEA Hub to drive operational excellence in marketplaces
  • Coordinating country go-to-market plans & buy with SEA Hub and APAC eCom Buying team by:
    • Co-ordinating MFP (Merchandise Financial Planning) according to pre-defined targets and aligning overall buy
    • Ensuring relevant marketing activation for product launches within agreed dates
    • Providing eCom pricing, distribution & mark-downs follow market-specific guidelines and SEA hub guidance
    • Supporting additional buy-on injection packs, special launches, etc
  • Providing strategic commercial inputs to SEA eCom team, country category & channel teams on product/concept/campaign performances on marketplaces
  • Being the point of coordination for SEA eCom, brand comms, country commercial teams & 3rd party agencies or offline partners in executing eCom-related projects
  • Responsible for validating launches for new product launches on country eCom
  • Driving online & offline marketing initiatives at the country level to gain a positive impact on marketplaces
  • Partner with the SEA Hub project team to pilot eCom projects
  • Reporting and data analytics on agreed KPIs within agreed timelines
  • Driving periodical update meetings with brand coms & country teams (monthly)
  • Co-ordinate regular operational topics like replenishments, warehouse & customer service coordination, product returns, stock issues, etc
  • Provide input to the digital brand activation team vis-\xc3\xa0-vis performance marketing budget spend for Country
  • Providing input to the SEA Hub team on competitive behavior and digital marketing trends

Pre-requisite Knowledge / Skills
  • Master or Degree in Marketing or Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 5 years experience in eCommerce in Sporting Goods or Consumer Goods Industry
  • Good understanding of global branding principles and adherence, significant knowledge of full Marketing mix with major brand
  • Experience in leading and managing a diverse team
  • Good project management, Marketing budget planning, and management
  • excellent oral and written communication skills in English
