KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Provide and ensure Integrity Assurance of Process designs through appropriate application of the Clients technical standards and specifications, implementations and review of design deliverables and related activities
2. Ensure scheduled and costs considerations are included in design decisions,while maintaining primary and core responsibilities in order to assure a Safe and appropriate Quality designs
3. Ensure repeated delivery of projects with HSSE risks demonstrably managed to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP) whilst creating a safe workplace
4. Ensure Technical HSE Engineering activities are executed and delivered with the Clients project delivery roadmap and create Opportunity Realization process
5. Validate strategies and/or conceptual designs during early project phase
6. Lead and manage competent HSE Audit team on construction activities for compliance and assist in resolution of field non-conformance issues as when required
7. Ensure the project design meets the requirements of the Clients HSSE framework
8. Manage a dedicated and competent team in order to strategize the implementation of Technical safety processes are in place during early design phase until the project execution, completion and delivery
9. Advice the Clients on the varieties and specifications of safe, reliable and acceptable standards of equipment procurements are in order to ensure the durability and sustainability of the equipment operations
10. Advise and develop as required, innovative technical approaches to the wider engineering issues in order to contribute to continuous business improvement initiatives (fit for purpose)
11. Deliver integrated HSE Risks Management support including hazard identification, major hazard assessment, developing HSE cases and contributing to layout reviews, human factors and health risks assessment as part of the Hazards and Effects Management Process across the full-cycle of the projects
12. Identification and communication of HSSE best practices
13. Provide Technical HSE Engineering support and delivery in accordance with the HSSE Control framework and associated standards, guidelines and relevant regulatory safety requirements
14. Accountable for technical HSE Engineering deliverables and engineering execution planning support including provision of Senior Engineering expertise
15. Work together with the related Engineering or Construction Manager to keep projects on track and achieve top performance for the portfolio
16. Be driven and deliver for an ever-increasing effectiveness and efficiency in producing project designs through Elimination, Simplification, Standardization and Automation balanced against the need for high and top quality project designs

THINKING ENVIRONMENT & CHALLENGES:
1. Perform all tasks in line with the Information Security Quality Manual (ISQM) and the ISMS roles and responsibilities procedure
2. Perform all tasks in line with the Information Governance Policy Suite and Guidelines
3. Perform all tasks in line with internal (SEB) and external (State, National Legislative, International Standards) requirements

QUALIFICATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:
1. Bachelor Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Civil, Chemical or Process Engineering with more than 10 years experience in a similar capacity with sound knowledge in HSE, Operations and Maintenance is a MUST
2. Possess green book holder registered with DOSH (is an added advantage)
3. Exposure in the operations of similar Industries related to Power Generation industry
4. Knowledge in equipment safety and understanding of the existing Malaysian Governing Laws & Regulation like OSHA/FMA/EQA related to Process Equipment Hazards & Risks
5. Experience in coordinating with relevant parties in resolving issues related to Operations & Maintenance
6. Knowledge and experience in related Forensics and Design Engineering
7. Hands on experience in Accident and Incident analysis by adapting proper Analysis tools
